AMSTEEL-UPGRADE - Amsteel Blue Cable & Hawse Upgrade Kit
The synthetic cable is the best thing to hit winches in the past 1,000 years. It is stronger than steel and doesn’t fray or give you those blood-splattering splinters. It floats in water, doesn’t degrade, or conduct cold or heat. And in the very unlikely event you break the rope, it won’t viciously recoil and kill the family dog. We provide 2 choices in strength/length. Although the brand name is Amsteel Blue, the cable can be dyed into different colors.
3/16" x 50' is what we typically use on our Max & Classic winches. It is rated at 5,400 lbs.
1/4" x 40' comes standard on our Elite winches. It is rated at a max of 9,200 lbs.
The aluminum hawse fairlead is the standard 4 7/8 bolt pattern & will replace most ATV roller fairleads.
