I just need the winch. If they’re all imported, why don’t I just buy the cheapest one?
Not all Chinese factories are created equal. We could get less expensive winches from China, but such winches are often more cheaply made. Our goal is not to provide the cheapest winch, but to provide a winch of exceptional quality at a great price with unsurpassed customer service.
(Makes for a great slogan if nothing else.)
We are willing to pay more in the manufacturing process to make sure VIPER winches are top quality.

Actual Excerpt from a customer……
After doing some research about Chinese vs. American made winches, I have decided to purachase a Viper Max 4500 winch today. I can't tell you at this time how the winch works because I don't have it yet BUT, I can tell you about MotoAlliance and the CEO.
I checked out their website and e-mailed them. This was in the evening Pacific time. Within 30 minutes I had a response to my 4 or 5 questions from the CEO himself. I had more questions and he answered back the following evening and cc’d two of his customer service reps so when I would call they had all the correct information and that there would be no errors. Now that’s service and I hadn’t even purchased anything, yet.
To top it off, today I called to place the order .We spoke a while and he explained why they give the 1 year warranty instead of 6 months, how they are sealed, and about the factories that make the winches for them. He even remembered all the items I wanted from 2 days prior. He talked to me about the installation and said when I get it, if there were some problems call and he would hook me up with his tech support. Can’t beat that!
Time will tell just how good this winch really is but, if Viper Max winches are as good as the company’s CEO and customer service has been to me, then I just purchased one great product!
Thanks….looking forward to getting my Viper Max 4500.
